Lately, everywhere we look, we seem to be seeing stripes. In the last three days alone, we've seen three super stylish women - Huma Qureshi, Athiya Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha - all of whom are fast becoming fashion icons we're keeping our eyes peeled for, donning them with pride, giving us some serious fashion goals about how to look effortlessly glam and comfortable at the same time. An additional thing we loved about how the trio chose to wear them? The fact that we can totally see all three looks going from a long day at work to a nigh-time soiree with minimal effort. Multi-functional fashion for the win.
We woke up today to see Sonakshi Sinha ready to take on the world, looking like a badass in a frayed Ikai by Ragini Ahuja denim dress and striped jacket - both from the brand's current latest Spring Summer 2018 collection showcased in the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week (LFW). She paired them with shoes from Zara and jewellery from Anomaly by Anam. Pink lips, defined brows and light loose waves. She looked like she could breeze through a press conference, attend script-reading sessions and party till the wee hours of the morning without missing a beat.

The night before that, Athiya Shetty too showed up at a charity shopping festival hosted by mom Mana in an Ikai by Ragini Ahuja outfit, this one too straight off the LFW runway. We loved the bold stripes on her long jacket and wide pants, but were not too crazy about the fit of her denim crop top. Perhaps a more fitted top would have accentuated Athiya's slim waist. Despite the little snafu, it was overall a look that definitely made us want to see more of Athiya in coming days.

Before Sonakshi and Athiya, Huma Qureshi made heads turn on day one of Lakme Fashion Week in pinstriped black and white Two Point Two separates, looking glamorous and completely at ease. Huma's look was delightfully adaptable - we can totally see fashion conscious working women rushing to buy the slightly longer than usual crop top with long sleeves and skirt with a high waistline. Together, they showed just a tad bit of tummy - comfortably toeing the line of high-fashion, while being work appropriate. It also had pockets, and who can resist pockets, really.

Another striped look that massively impressed us with its easy comfortable and chic vibe, and absolutely must be mentioned is model Carol Gracia's pick of Chola separates with chunky block heels on day two of fashion week. If you love stripes as much as we do, Carol's look is something you'd absolutely die for.
