IWC Schaffhausen celebrated 150 years yesterday. Why should you care? Because Sonam Kapoor is the India brand ambassador for this Swiss luxury watch manufacturer and she flew out to Geneva for their anniversary. It won't be news when we tell you that she looked fabulous for the event - she is, after all, Sonam Kapoor. It also comes as no surprise that she's giving us more fashion goals, right? Well, we'll let you have a look for yourself and save what we think about it for after. Namrata Soni, the makeup artist for this look, posted these pictures of Sonam in a pink Bougessa pantsuit on Instagram:
So, are you in awe or are you in awe? Everything, from the hair to her makeup and the outfit to her expression is just so perfect. After seeing her in clean buns and natural waves for the longest time, we had almost forgotten how amazingly fierce Sonam looks with straight hair. And the dark lipstick just makes her look even more striking.
This isn't the first time we've seen her sporting a Bouguessa outfit; she wore an olive cape and suit combo on her way to the airport too.
But nothing, and we really do mean nothing, can compare to this Bouguessa suit in pink. It's giving a whole new meaning to power dressing and breaking all kinds of stereotypes attached to the colour pink. In this look, the colour pink shows us strength, power and genius all rolled together. The relaxed tailoring is extremely stylish, and we're almost certain, comfortable. The Stuart Weitzman boots are complementing the outfit perfectly. And while we could have done without those earrings, we're not going to start complaining about them - the look works and that's all that matters to us.
The theme for her Geneva trip seems to be the colour pink though. Contrasting her fierce first look, was her princess-in-pink second look. Styled by Rhea Kapoor in a Viktor & Rolf gown and made to look flawless by makeup and hair wiz Namrata Soni, she really does look like she just stepped out of a Disney movie. Namrata even called it a "fairy tale moment" on her Instagram.
