Sonam Kapoor's Smokey Eyes: Try This Diwali Makeup Look!
Now you too can rock smokey eyes like Sonam Kapoor!

With Diwali in full swing, it's time to bring your A-game to your next party. If you're confused, look to Sonam Kapoor for inspiration. At a recent filmy festive bash, Sonam Kapoor looked nothing short of amazing in a sparkling saree, minimal jewellery and, to top it off, dark smokey eyes. So for your next Diwali bash, make like Sonam Kapoor and try her party-ready smokey eyes and makeup look.

Step 1 - Dot a lightweight moisturiser all over your skin and then use your finger tips to blend it in quick. It's important for your skin to stay hydrated for smooth makeup application.

Step 2 - Over your eyelids, apply thick strokes with a kohl pencil. Then use a narrow shadow brush to blend it in. This will act as a base for your smokey eye makeup.

Step 3 - In the crease of your eyes, blend a matte brown shade that's slightly darker than your skin tone to give definition to the makeup.

Step 4 - Over your entire lid, pack on a matte black eyeshadow until the crease. Then use the same brush to extend the shadow outward slightly to form a winged shadow. Run the same brush over your lower lash line to give it a smudged look.

Step 5 - Line your upper and lower waterline with kajal for added definition. Dip a Q-tip in makeup remover and use it to draw the shadow in shape and remove excess fallout.

Step 6 - Curl your lashes with an eyelash curler and apply two coats of mascara to get Sonam Kapoor's luscious lashes.

Step 7 - Use an eyebrow pencil to draw in the shape of your brows and blend it with a spoolie brush.

Step 8 - Once your eyes are ready and face is free of fallout, dot a high coverage foundation all over it. Use a dense brush to blend it into your face and neck.

Step 9 - For Sonam Kapoor's flawless face, dust a skin toned pressed powder over your face and neck.

Step 10 - Use a blush brush to dab peach blush over the apples of your cheeks and blend it outward towards your temples.

Step 11 - Finish off the makeup look by getting Sonam Kapoor's glossy pout with a nude lip gloss all over your lips.

You're all set to look like a diva at your Diwali bash while partying the night away!
