Ringing in the wedding celebrations of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, Bollywood celebs turned up the tempo at Anil Kapoor's residence last evening during the mehendi function of the beautiful couple. If you have seen the splash of images on social media and wondering what's the deal with all that white, that's because the dress code for the event was 'shades of white'. So no wonder the stars picked trendsetting designs in the classic colour, and turned the event into a super stylish evening. At least most of the guests came dressed in white.
The bride-to-be Sonam Kapoor looked stunning in an ivory and gold Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga that had intricate chikankari detailing. Beau Anand Ahuja complemented her look with a stylish kurta-pajama and jacket designed by Raghavendra Rathore.
Bollywood celebrities who attended the mehendi function included Katrina Kaif, Karisma Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Swara Bhasker, Jacqueline Fernandez, Isabelle Kaif, Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar, Farah Khan, as well as designers Masaba Gupta, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, among others. Following the theme of the event to the T, each of the celebs made heads turn with their stylish whites.

The father of the bride looked dapper as ever in a classic white kurta with self patterns. Clearly, Anil Kapoor has stopped ageing and with his high spirited energy, he seemed like the life of the party as he pulled his guests to the dance floor and showed his best dance moves.
At the start of the ceremony, we saw the Kapoor siblings come together for a picture - Sonam, Rhea and Harshvardhan - looking chic in white and setting the tone for the evening. Harshvardhan Kapoor shared a post where the trio is all smiles, setting major siblings goal.
Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor too posed together. While Arjun wore a black and white Manish Malhotra creation, Anshula picked an all-white lehenga from the same designer that had intricate thread work.
Sisters Janhvi and Khushi came dressed in gorgeous Tarun Tahiliani lehengas with statement jewellery to notch up the style quotient.
