No wonder a lot has happened in just a single month. Sudden changes in food and lifestyle habits have become the new way of life. Unlike earlier, pushing yourself to stay on top of your health and fitness goals during quarantine may not be realistic. Our mind and body are still adjusting to these new changes, so it's okay if exercise is the last thing on your mind right now. While most of our spirits are out of whack and the motivation is just not there, getting your body moving, even if it's not a rigorous training session, is essential. So how can we keep ourselves motivated to workout during quarantine? Here are some tips that may help you out.
Reasons To Stay Motivated For Workouts During Quarantine
Here are some reasons which can help you stay motivated for your workout sessions during lockdown:
1. Boosts Mental Health
As this time is already gloomy and negative, it impacts our mental health. But doing light exercises at home can trigger happy hormones in the body and boost our mental health automatically. Studies have shown that doing low impact exercises on a daily basis helps with keeping a good mood and improves our mental health.

2. Your Body System Needs It
"During an uncertain time, doing something that is familiar to you is so important", says Caroline Bragg, strong woman ambassador. That means, if you have been working out for a long time, your body also becomes used to it and functions that way. So during this sudden lifestyle-changing time, you should keep in touch with moderate exercise sessions.

3. Basic Movement Is Missing
When things were normal, we had to commute to work, go shopping or a night out dancing, but quarantine life isn't allowing us basic movements. Staying at home restricts daily steps, which makes your body feel weird and go through sudden body aches, fatigue. "Whether it's a simple stretch or a strength session, understand that your body needs movement to work properly," says trainer Emma Obayuvana.
These are some reasons for working out even during quarantine. Do you still need any more motivation?
