10 Tips On How You Can Control Oily Hair In Summers

1.Try An Oil-Free Shampoo

To work on this hair issue, the best solution is to wash it with an organic oil control shampoo. Make sure it has a clean ingredients list and then do the second hair wash with a moisture-boosting shampoo, for your hair strands.

2.Using Dry Shampoo

If you have been washing your hair too many times a week, then that too is a huge mistake. You are torturing your hair by doing so. The solution here is that you invest in a good dry shampoo and use it only on the crown. Then comb it to the strands and leave it be.

3.Conditioner

Do not think that you can go without a conditioner even if your hair is oily. Not just dry scalps but your hair strands also need nourishment.

4.Aloe Vera Mask

Aloe vera is one of the best hair repairing masks that you can use. Mix 2 tablespoon of aloe vera gel with a few drops of tea tree oil and apply this all over your scalp. Massage thoroughly then wash it off after 15 minutes.

5.Tea Rinse

You can use either green tea or black tea leaves to prepare the tea rinse for your oily hair. The tea rinse works well on dull and greasy hair. Steep 1-2 teabags of green or regular black tea in hot water. Then let this mixture cool a little by diluting it with a cup of cold water. Rinse your hair and scalp using this.

6.Lemon Juice

Using lemon juice is one of the most effective ways to get rid of greasy hair. Lemon juice is acidic in nature so it works well on greasy hair and it is also a great dandruff buster. To use lemon juice on your scalp, squeeze the juice out of 2 lemons and mix it with a cup of water. Apply this mixture to your hair and scalp.

7.Embrace The Updo

By this point, you likely have a good bit of both oil and product buildup in your hair. But not to worry, you can still look put together without a fresh shampoo. This is the ideal time for your favourite updo. The buildup will actually help your hair stay in place.

8.Mousse Helps

If you've only used mousse on damp hair, you're seriously missing out. A palmful of foam worked into dry, limp locks can actually bring them back to life.

9.Add A Bit Of Volume

Texture spray is really the new dry shampoo. Lightly spritz on select areas of your roots when they start to look shiny. This powder will also give your strands added volume and lift.

10.Lessen Combing

Stop running your hand or hairbrush through your hair frequently. This increases the sebum of it and causes oiliness. Also, make sure that you use products that are formulated for oily hair only, like using oily hair oil and not castor or any other oil.
