1. Tomato And Honey Mask 

This skin-brightening face mask made using tomato and honey is your sure shot way to bid adieu to dull and lifeless skin. To make this face mask, blend a ripe tomato with 1 tablespoon of honey and some curd (optional). Apply this paste evenly onto your face, massage this mix for 5 minutes, and then leave it for 15 minutes. Wash it with cold water and pat your skin dry with a clean towel. This face mask will reduce the appearance of blemishes on your skin and also lighten your skin complexion. 

2. Tomato And Lemon Peel Off Mask 

This is an amazing natural remedy for skin whitening that is simple, and safe, and the effects of which are long-lasting. Tomato and lemon, both are well known for their skin lightening and bleaching properties. Take a ripe tomato and cut it into small cubes. Puree it in a blender until you get pulp-like consistency. Next, squeeze out its juice with the help of a strainer, and add 2 tsp of gelatin powder to it. Slightly heat this mixture in a microwave, so that gelatin powder gets completely dissolved and mixes well with the tomato juice. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add 1 tsp of honey and a few drops of lemon juice to it. Combine all the ingredients nicely, and your peel-off mask for skin whitening is ready.

3. Tomato Cucumber Face Mask 

Rejuvenate your skin with the freshness of the tangy tomato and hydrating cucumber. Both tomato and cucumber are natural astringents that help tighten large pores. Wash and peel half a cucumber and blend it to a fine pulp with a ripe tomato. Apply this mixture evenly to your skin in a gentle circular motion. Let it sit for 15 minutes, and wash it with cold water. Rich in antioxidants, the goodness of cucumber and tomato will nourish, moisturise and hydrate the skin. 4. Multani Mitti Face Mask 

If you an acne-prone skin, this can be your next go-to homemade tomato face mask that will help in preventing acne and get rid of those pesky scars. Take a ripe tomato and puree it in a blender. Next, strain its juice and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Take two tablespoons of multani mitti and mix it with the chilled tomato juice.  Muddle the two ingredients until you get a thick consistency and all the lumps are dissolved. Apply it all over your face and neck, not restricted to just acne-prone regions. For best results, use the mask twice a week.

5. Papaya Tomato Face Mask 

This face mask will not only help you get rid of unwanted skin discolourations, but will also lend a natural glow to your skin. To prepare the mask, take 8-10 cubes of papaya and blend them to make a thick paste. To this paste, add an equal amount of tomato pulp, and mix the two ingredients well. Apply it all over your face and the affected areas. Let it sit for 15 minutes, and then wash it off with lukewarm water, and pat dry.

Tomato is known for its amazing cleansing, de-tanning, and brightening properties. However, it is not recommended to rub tomatoes on your face daily, as doing so will sap the natural moisture from the skin. Having said that, it is safe to use it around 2-3 times a week.
