Sydney Sweeney Exuded Old Hollywood Charm In An 80s Vintage Mugler Velvet Green Mini Dress

Sydney Sweeney has our attention where ever she goes and in whatever she wears. That's the case with her off-duty style as well as with her couture on the red carpet. So when Ms. Sweeney attended the Hollywood Critics Association Awards which was held in Beverly Hills recently, that turned out to be no different. Being an actress of her acclaim, Sydney could easily wear the latest selections from the best of designers but she chose a different path. To attend the black tie event in Hollywood, she went the retro route.

Sydney was photographed wearing a bottle green velvet dress which was taken from the archives, specifically the 1981 collection of Mugler. The mini dress featured a sculpted style strapless neckline with exaggerated puff sleeves. Sydney's waist was accentuated with a broad self-coloured velvet belt and a peplum detail at the hips. She accessorized with silver pointed pumps, dangling earrings and a string of diamonds around her neck.

Sydney kept her makeup look in tune with the old Hollywood vibes of her emsemble. She wore her locks pulled back into a tousled updo with sections loose across the front. For makeup, she opted for smokey brown winged eyeliner with brushed back eye brows. Along with a flush of colour on her cheeks, a glossy neutral lip pulled it together. We love a retro fashion and when pulled off to perfection like Sydney Sweeney did, even more so.
