Every now and then, we come across something viral that grabs all our attention and recently it has been Delhi Metro that has been taking the internet by storm. It is the viral "Delhi Metro girl" that has ignited a discussion over social media. Recently, videos of a woman identified as Rhythm Chanana dressed in a bralette and a skirt as she travelled in the Delhi Metro have gone viral on social media. The act invited comments from all sorts of people that have either come from empowered voices or trolls. Many even said that her style was inspired by Mumbai's latest fashion sensation, Uorfi Javed. We certainly see the similarities!
In the video, the girl was seen travelling in the metro wearing a DIY bralette and a micro mini skirt. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation issued a statement which states, "Commuters should not indulge in any activity or wear any attire which could offend the sensibilities of other fellow passengers," it said in the statement."
