A makeup trend has emerged on social media platforms where makeup artists and beauty creators replicate their favourite emoji on their most-loved canvas i.e. their faces. When you think of emojis, you definitely consider the most used ones like laughing till you cry face or red hearts. But these makeup lovers took the emoji makeup trend leaps and miles further.
Beauty creators from all over the world dug into the recesses of their digital keyboard to find emojis you may not even believe exist. From green haired witches to sprinkle covered ice-cream sundaes, every emoji is fair game when it's a makeup challenge. While they don't need to be replicated to the last stroke, emojis serving as makeup inspiration for their beauty look is good enough.
Some of them were a fantastical twist to emojis we've glanced past many times. That defined red dragon certainly does bring out the highlighter and contour.
We never thought the flame emoji could be translated to an actually wearable and extremely cool eye makeup look.
