When struck with an infection, the plan of action is crystal clear. Hole up at home, avoid meeting anyone you know and most importantly, no photographs. However, that wasn't the case for Amanda Seyfried. The Hollywood star will be seen on-screen in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, which is the prequel to the 2008 superhit musical movie Mamma Mia! At the Stockholm premiere of the movie, crisis struck when Amanda was faced with an eye infection right before the glitzy red carpet event. While most of us would have thought of calling it off instantly, that's not the route Amanda chose to go down. Instead, she embraced her eye infection like a complete professional.

The eye infection had left the actress's eye a bit puffy and red which her makeup artist, Mary Greenwell decided to use to her advantage. Rather than attempting to conceal the eyes and tone down its appearance, Mary created a dual toned eye makeup look for her.

On the upper eyelid is a shimmery teal shade highlighted in at the brow bone. Bronze liner is applied over the lower lashline and given a smokey effect with a touch of brown toned shadow. If you didn't stare at Amanda's closeup for a good half a minute, you might not even know she battled an infection under the lovely look. It was accompanied by glossy nude lips and a messy updo which complemented her embellished green Prada ensemble wonderfully.

On Instagram, Mary wrote, "I just want to say how wonderful Amanda is. While most people would hide from the camera, here she is looking as beautiful as ever with make up purposefully created to work WITH Amanda's eye infection. I love this so much."
