Bhumi Pednekar has a strong voice on the subject of the environment. When it comes to love and relationships, she looks for someone who matches her wavelength.
We know this because she recently revealed to Vogue India, her thoughts on love and how that doesn't come in between her commitment to protect the environment.
During the interview Bhumi Pednekar said, “I can never be with a partner who doesn't believe in what I do. People who are cruel to animals, who harm the planet—yuck. I would never be able to respect them. At the end of the day, I only surround myself with people who think like I do.”

Recalling her upbringing, Bhumi shared how her parents instilled in her the importance of giving back. Whether it was the Odisha cyclone (1999), the Bhuj earthquake (2001), or the 2004 tsunami, her family always stepped up. “I've been brought up in an empathetic ecosystem, and that's led me to understand a lot about the environment,” she added.
“Some people get inspired and others think you're completely unhinged. You've just got to find the ones who get it,” said Bhumi Pednekar on the relationships she has developed over the years from a young age.
Beyond the big screen, Bhumi Pednekar's small yet impactful gestures – whether advocating for climate action or showing kindness to animals – continue to inspire her fans to join the movement for a better world.
