Travel plans are always exciting and new developments in the travel sphere have always been intriguing. Who would not want to indulge in an extravagant, once-in-a-lifetime-like experience? Well, 'Icon Of The Seas' offers just that. The world's biggest cruise ship, measuring at approximately nearly 1,200 feet (366 meters), will be able to host up to 5,610 passengers and 2,350 crew members across its 19-20 floors. The ship is all set to sail early next year, and offers both a thrilling experience and a luxe trip.

So how much does it cost to take this luxurious, adventure on sea? With 7 nights on the Western Caribbean and a Perfect Day trip on the cruise starting from Miami, Florida, the cost to travel ranges from USD 1,876 (Rs 1,55,145) to USD 2,497 (Rs 2,05,003) per person, as per their official site. However, the price can fluctuate depending on the time of year.

Apart from the incredible length of the ship, it has quite a few offerings to make it a fun-filled trip for the passengers. It boasts "the largest waterpark at sea with six record-breaking slides. Like the Frightening Bolt, the tallest waterslide to sail and the Pressure Drop, the first open freefall waterslide on a cruise." The ship also has seven pools and nine whirlpools. But for those who aren't adventure sports or water park enthusiasts, this cruise redefines laidback vacations like never before with 'next-level' views at various heights of its 19+ floors, over 15 buzzing activity centres and live music venues and up to 20 different dining options which cater to a wide variety of palates.

The cruise has a club-inspired Hideaway, conjuring Mykonos moods and Mallorca mindsets, where you can lay back and relax. It also features a suspended infinity pool, technically the first one at the sea. This signature pool is the first of its kind with its scenic beauty. Who would not want to relax in luxury?

Unsurprisingly, this giant ship has attracted more than a few reactions and comparisons on Twitter. The comparison with the Titanic is the most popular.

Naysayers aside, this ship is truly a sight to behold.
