Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal married in an intimate ceremony last month, post which they hosted a glittery reception for their friend and industry colleagues. Now, Zaheer has opened up about the time when he first realised that Sonakshi was the one for him. Much like in movies, in real life too, when a person gets the butterflies after seeing the special someone, it often sets the ground for a whirlwind romance. Seems like Zaheer understands the feeling all too well. In a throwback snap from 2017, the now newlyweds were seen having a fun time. Sonakshi held her beau's neck as Zaheer looked at her affectionately. “This day. This moment. This feeling. I knew it was Forever,” he wrote on Instagram. Doesn't the picture scream love from miles away?

At the reception, Sonakshi was the epitome of grace in a red silk brocade sari. Zaheer complemented his wife in a white kurta, beige embroidered coat, and white trousers. In a heartfelt note, Sonakshi wrote, “What a day!!!! The love, the laughter, the togetherness, the excitement, the warmth, the support from every one of our friends, families, and teams, it was like the universe came together for two people in love to give them exactly what they've always hoped, wished and prayed for. If this is not divine intervention, we don't know what is. We are both truly blessed to have each other and so much love protecting us.”
The celebrity couple twinned in ethnic white ensembles on their wedding day. “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each other's eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs leading up to this moment where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods we are now man and wife. Here's to love, hope, and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever,” penned Sonakshi.
