We all prefer winter weddings over summer ones, right?! You can dance the night away without sweating and you don't need to keep running to the powder room to touch up. A large peg and some Punjabi songs is all we need to get the party started. But, how do we ensure to keep warm while looking as stylish as ever? We're sure you've asked yourself this question a million times. Well, we have a few tricks that'll help you through the biting cold while you have some shaadi fun.

1. Throw On A Jacket

Jackets are an obvious option. Throw one on over a saree or even a lehenga, for that matter. All the celebs are wearing it this way, why shouldn't you? Or to really grab some eyeballs and break the cliches, throw on a leather biker jacket - the whole fusion outfit will be so on point.

2. Sweater It Out

Not the same way as a jacket but wear your turtlenecks with your lehengas as a blouse. Add your jewellery on top of the sweater and see for yourself how stylish and unique you end up looking.

3. Full Sleeve Blouses or Anarkalis

Go for full sleeve blouse or anarkalis, they are very trendy and they'll even keep you warm. Or if you prefer, you can even throw on your crop sweaters with sarees and lehengas. Warm, cozy and stylish. Ta-da.

4. Work Them Leggings

If you're wearing a floor length anarkali, instead of wearing a churidar underneath, just wear a pair of warm leggings. The same goes for under your lehenga or palazzos. No one needs to know what's happening under there, do they?! Don't worry, we'll keep your secret.

5. Velvet and Silk All The Way

Fabrics like velvet, silk, raw silk and brocade will keep you nice and warm and you wouldn't have to stand in front of those burners. They have a very regal feel to the, and most of the celebs are often seen in silks too  - another reason why you should be sporting these fabrics. Try avoiding chiffon and georgette as fabrics for your wedding outfits if you tend to feel cold easily.
