Shriya Saran's love for sarees is an age old one. We've seen a myriad of pictures of her draped in this ever-evolving drape on her Instagram account. The Drishyam actress honestly never has a dull moment with a saree on wearing everything from traditional Indian handloom weaves to more modern takes on the drape. This time too Shriya won hearts as she strutted out in style at the SIIMA Awards red carpet wearing a cocktail saree with sequin embellishments in a gunmetal colour.

Shriya Saran looked like a million bucks wearing a dazzling sequinned saree from the shelves of the designer Monisha Jaising to attend the coveted SIIMA Awards. What's more, the cocktail saree had an overall sequin embroidery on it done in vertical stripes running along the drape. The pre-draped saree had a high waistline, graceful pleats and a train that followed Shriya around to give a more fusion gown-like vibe to the ensemble. To add to this, the stitched and pleated palla was wrapped around her waist and then fixed on her shoulder. The saree was teamed with a cocktail-style matching blouse with capped sleeves, a plunging neckline, and cut-outs around the waist.

For her hair and makeup of the day, Shriya sported a centre-parted slicked-back low bun in her tresses. As for her makeup, she flaunted her dewy and bronzed skin, with arched brows, smokey grey eye shadow, lots of mascara to add volume to her lashes, contoured cheeks, a muted pink lip colour and a neutral manicure to give the perfect finishing touch to the look.

Shriya Saran was in her winning desi girl era draped in a sequinned saree to attend the SIIMA Awards in style.
