Akansha Ranjan Kapoor turned a year old and brought in her big day in a special way. While you'd think that celebrities would throw a plush party or hit up a fancy club, that wasn't her plan and we loved every bit of it. The Bollywood celebrity, who is besties with actress Alia Bhatt, celebrated her birthday in New York. Seemingly with a sunshine-filled picnic in the park, Akansha's birthday look was just as casual and chic as her birthday plans. She posed for pictures wearing a white and yellow gingham printed crop top with puff sleeves and a thin strap detailed back. It was teamed with a high waist pair of straight fit blue jeans. She accessorized with a matching yellow handbag and tinted pair of sunglasses propped on her head. Now that's the kind of casually cool birthday queen we adore.
Back when she was travelling through Germany, Akansha opted for the tried-and-tested combination once more. She picked a white tube top with a yellow blazer on top and wrapped up the look with blue jeans. Once again, it doesn't fail her.

Earlier this summer when Alia Bhatt married Ranbir Kapoor, our keen eyes noticed that Akansha opted for her favourite colour combination once again. She wore a sheer yellow saree which had an embroidered white border. It was paired with a white sleeveless blouse and a matching potli in her hand. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?
