1. Lyangcha
Similar to the prominent gulab jamun or kala jamun which you may have tasted, Lyangcha is made from refined oil, flour, sugar syrup, milk powder, curd, and khoya kheer. It is not only a famous sweet in Bengal, but is also exported around the world.
2. Moa
Moa is a seasonal dessert that originated in the Joynagar area. It is made from jaggery, Kanak chura khoi, Khoya kheer, ghee, raisins, nuts, and cardamom powder as the main ingredients. It looks similar to laddoos and is a common dessert served at weddings.
3. Rasgulla
The famous rasgullas from Kolkata are popular all across the country. The finger-licking Bengali sweet is made from chana and sugar syrup. Medium-sized balls are dipped in sugary syrup and are devoured on every Bengali occasion.

4. Babarsha
Babarsha is also popularly known as Khirpai Babarsha after a city in the district of West Midnapore. The sweet is made from kheer, milk, and refined flour. It is sometimes served with honey on top. The dessert is an age-old recipe that is still loved by many.
5. Sondesh
Yet another well-known Bengali sweet, sondesh is made from gram flour, cardamom powder, cashew nuts, ghee, khoya, and sugar. Sondesh are considerably less sweet as compared to the other counterparts but just as worthy of being devoured.
6. Rajbhog
A very similar sweet to Roshogulla, Rajbhog is filled with dry fruits, cardamom, and saffron. These circular morsels of sweet delicacies are rich and heavy and will compel you to indulge in many but not without leaving you in a food coma.
7. Chanar Jilipi
Chana Jilipi is also known as paneer jalebi and is a very famous dessert made from khoya, chhena and flour, paneer jalebi can be relished on any occasion. No wonder it is a favourite across North India too!
