1. Double Decker Living Root Bridge, Cherrapunji

Cherrapunji was the place with the highest rainfall in the country until recently. This double-decker root bridge is another unique feature Cherrapunji has in store for you. Made of the roots of the Indian rubber tree, this bridge is 3 km long and stands at an elevation of 2400 feet. It is one of the oldest bridges made and dates back as 200 years.

3. Mawsmai Cave

Situated 6 kilometers from Cherrapunji, this cave is another tourist attraction. It is only 150 meters long but has a lot of vegetation in its vicinity. 4. Laitlum Canyon

Most tourists come to Meghalaya for trekking. The Laitlum Canyon trek here is one of the most renowned treks. This majestic waterfall in Meghalaya is located 12 kilometers from Shillong. Located amidst immense greenery, the gushing water of the falls creates a great atmosphere for visitors.
