On a four-day trip to Bhutan, one can experience a captivating journey through the country's serene landscape, rich culture and delectable dishes

Upon arrival at the Paro International Airport, head to the capital city of Bhutan, Thimphu, and visit the famous Buddha Dordenma, known for the 51-foot-tall steel statue of Buddha that commands the entry to the Thimphu valley

On day 2, wander the capital's vibrant streets,  visit the famous Tashichhho Dzong, which is known as one of the largest monasteries, known for its unique Bhutanese architecture that combines traditional and modern styles

On day 3, hike up to Taktsang Monastery, also known as Tiger's Nest, in Bhutan. It is one of the most sacred pilgrimages of Bhutan, and one can enjoy a spectacular view of the monastery

On day 4, head to Phuntsholing, a small town famous for one of the most photographed places in the country, i.e. the Bhutan Gate


If you have some time left Before catching your flight,  spend time in Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest monasteries in the country, situated in Paro
