In 2007, Mani Ratnam's directorial masterpiece Guru released across the world and Bollywood hasn't been the same ever since. Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan played pivotal roles and it went on to find its way into the Hindi film industry's list of iconic films. 14 years of Guru have passed and everyone, especially Aishwarya definitely haven't forgotten it. Her latest Instagram photo revisits the movie event in New York which saw Aishwarya, Abhishek and Mani in attendance. All eyes were on the gorgeous actress who wore a shimmering blue and silver saree with her silky straight worn loose and glittering dangling earrings. The big apple definitely looked a little more stunning that night, especially with one of the most beautiful women in the world visiting it.

Aishwarya is adored across the world for her saree statements and this glitzy international event was no different. The sky blue saree was a delicate choice, livened up instantly by silver sequinned borders and embroidery work. Her makeup look too complemented the ethnic outfit without taking from it. Shimmering gold eyes with kajal, narrow brows and glossy nude lips were Aishwarya's makeup look for the night.

Guru released in the same year that Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan got married. Though it was one of the many films in which they acted together, its essence and their chemistry made Guru one of the most unforgettable moments in which they shared the silver screen together. That included Aishwarya's elegant dance performance in the movie where she wore a glittering lehenga choli and flowers adorning her long flowing braid.
Over a decade later, Aishwarya's ethnic looks continue to be traditional wear inspiration. She looked absolutely incredible for a family portrait in a red embroidered suit with her signature red lips to match.
Another time she wore blue and silver was back in 2019, when as per usual, she made waves for her fabulous lehenga look.
In more crimson tones, she wore a gold and rouge sharara suit with jhumka earrings and contrasted with the sea for an event in Doha in the same year.
