When you're a legend, anything you do is capable of setting a trend. You'd agree that Amitabh Bachchan definitely falls in that category. The Bollywood superstar has been an idol from his heydays in the 70s and his popularity has remained unchanged through the decades. Social media savvy Amitabh often shares throwback photos of retro days in Bollywood. And all of them aren't only his glitzy moments in front of the camera. Even way back when, Amitabh Bachchan was setting fashion trends and he didn't even know they'd end up sky-rocketing in popularity. In his photo shared on Instagram, Amitabh is seen in blue buttoned shirt knotted in front with light toned trousers from 1975's Deewar. He captioned it, "... those were the days my friend .. and the knotted shirt .. it has a story .. first day of shoot .. shot ready .. camera about to roll .. and the discovery that the shirt has been made too long - beyond the knees .. director could not wait for another shirt or a replaced actor .. so tied it up in a knot and ...". Only a legend could end up unknowingly setting fashion goals that would end up becoming so big.
With a feed full of throwback photos, it's hard not to reminisce when you reach Amitabh's profile. Accompanied by a poem in his caption, here he's seen running fiercely while his white ensemble was streaked with red and brown from the arid surroundings.

There was another time he wore a blue shirt but it was his tinted sunglasses that stole the show in this photo. He captioned it, "Wo bhi kya din the !!! When wearing glasses like these publicly or at public functions was not considered 'IT' .. but I liked wearing them and did it .. they all thought I had lost my eye sight ..BUT .. you know what thought did". And before you knew it, sunglasses like these were a raging fashion trend.
He all donned some pretty zany threads for the camera. Remember this one from Ganga Jamuna Saraswati where he went all out with the black leather, single glove and rivets in abundance? He wrote, "... when Manmohan Desai thought that I could replicate MJ in our film Ganga Jamuna Saraswati ..What a failure I was !!"
