Naga Chaitanya Once Took A Flight For A Date With Sobhita Dhulipala Because He Isn't A "Big Fan Of Texting"

It goes without saying that Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala make one of the most adorable couples. The duo got married on December 4 in Hyderabad. Now, in an interview with The New York Times, Naga looked back on his dating phase with Sobhita. He shared that they first started chatting on Instagram, and he then flew to Mumbai for a lunch date with her. An extract from the interview reads, “Throughout their relationship, Ms. Dhulipala has lived in Mumbai and Mr. Akkineni in Hyderabad. A couple of weeks after they started talking on Instagram, he took an hour-long flight just for a lunch date with her at Pali Village cafe.” Naga said, “I'm not a big fan of texting. I'm not a fan of communicating on social media.” To that, Sobhita responded, "That was the charming part. It was so old school in a way."

In the same interview, Sobhita spoke about how their relationship was a meeting of mature, like minds. "It was cute, and it was steady. It's not a case of two tender hearts falling in love. It was more like two metals being welded by the same wants from life, and we were able to speak about those things freely without inhibitions. That moved me," she added.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala got married at the iconic Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. Their wedding looked no less than an Indian fairy tale. On December 4, Naga Chaitanya's father, superstar Nagarjuna shared the first official pictures from the couple's D-day.
