Jai Ho star Daisy Shah is currently having the best time in the United States of America. After fun-filled snowy days in Virginia, the actress spent some touristy days in Washington D.C., where she spent time soaking up the city's rich history. Daisy, who is a globetrotter at heart, has now let us in on her special “travel rituals”. In a conversation with The Times Of India, Daisy Shah got candid about her global adventures and revealed that she carries a journal along with her. Daisy said, “I do have some travel rituals that I find quite comforting. I always carry a journal with me to jot down my thoughts and experiences.” The actress said that noting down the essence of her escapades is a sacred practice for her. This is because those recorded words allow her to relive cherished moments long after the voyage ends, she said.

Talking about the essence of recording her travel details, Daisy Shah said, "It's like preserving a piece of my soul in those pages.” Just like any other traveller, Daisy doesn't limit herself only to sightseeing. The actress' love for exploration also extends to the culinary realm. After all, what's a vacation without a lip-smacking gastronomical adventure? Abiding by this very rule, Daisy makes sure to relish the local cuisine everywhere she goes. Daisy said, “I make it a point to try local cuisine wherever I go. By immersing myself in the culture and flavours of a place, it truly enhances my travel experience, making it more memorable."
Daisy Shah, who loves meeting new people, said, “It's a humbling experience. To walk in the shoes of different characters, to embrace unfamiliar customs, and to connect with people from all walks of life—it's a gift that keeps on giving.” Apart from her vacations, many work projects have also given the actress some great travelling memories. Daisy shared, “Traveling for different projects has really been incredible. It has given me some great memories and experiences. It has allowed me to immerse myself in different cultures, interact with diverse communities, and gain a deeper understanding of the world we live in.”
Meanwhile, just a few days ago, Daisy Shah dropped a series of pictures from her visit to the White House. Sharing the pictures, Daisy wrote, “1st time here! Learnt a lot about history and much more.”
