Diwali parties in Bollywood saw numerous jaw-dropping ethnic looks. Be it a saree or lehenga, Bollywood divas left no stone unturned to bring out their festive best. Today, we have a fashion inspo coming from miles away. All thanks to Poorna Jagannathan. The Never Have I Ever actress recently celebrated Diwali with her sisters and friends. She gorged on “heart stopping meals” as she celebrated “everything that's good in the world.” However, we couldn't look past her stunning Diwali outfit. For the occasion, Poorna slipped into an Anita Dongre creation. A custom-made purple lehenga, which featured cord embroidery and a risqué neckline. The lilac number was paired with a short black jacket. Poorna opted for a statement choker and a maang tikka to round off the look.  A smoky eye in shades of purple, a nude lip, and muted tones made for her makeup look. She took the monotone dressing route with her choice of footwear, which were a pair of lilac pumps.

For Diwali celebrations at the White House this year, Poorna Jagannathan wore a pink brocade Anita Dongre set. The actress looked nothing less than royalty in a Benarasi silk Jivin Sherwani. For accessories, Poorna picked a layered necklace, studs, a sleek maang tikka, and a couple of rings. Her makeup consisted of blushed and highlighted cheeks along with a nude lip. Poorna wore a statement hairdo of centrally parted straight hair.

Decked up in a gorgeous royal blue saree, Poorna Jagannathan posed with her mother and sister in this picture. The ethnic wonder came with a wide Kanjeevaram border and golden print all over. Poorna teamed the drape with a plain blouse sporting three-fourth sleeves. She accessorised the desi look with multiple chains and a pair of sleek danglers. Ditching the makeup, Poorna went for a natural look with her tresses tied neatly in a bun. On the other hand, her mother wore an orange saree, while her sister was dressed in a kurta set.

Last year, for a Diwali party, Poorna Jagannathan dazzled in Anita Dongre's “Nandika Jacket set”, which epitomises conscious luxury. Poorna looked stunning in the elegant handcrafted Indian fashion wear. She stuck to her layered chains and sleek earrings, when it came to accessories. A glamorous makeup with highlighted cheeks and brown lip, added more pizazz to her traditional look. Poorna rounded up her look with a white handbag and similar colour footwear.

How stunning is Poorna Jagannathan in this all white ensemble? The outfit came with silver detailing around the sleeves, neckline, as well as the waist. The Western outfit came with an Indian touch, and we totally love it.
