As per CNN Travel, industry insiders are referring to it as the “sexual wellness" travel trend, which focusses on open-minded travellers in a big way. The travel trend forecast for 2025 also says that sexual wellness resorts are going to take off this year, as more and more people focus on their sexual wellness.

NDTV spoke to relationship counsellor Ruchi Ruuh about the importance of sexual wellness and how it is connected to wellness retreats.

- The trend integrates a focus on physical aspects, such as safe sex practices, pelvic health, hormonal balance, and regular health check-ups. This proactive approach reduces risks like STIs and enhances overall physical health.

A vacation is a great way to reconnect sexually, and that is why many resorts and hotels are providing exclusive sexual wellness programs and packages.
Several hotels and resorts across the world have also launched promotions and packages to cater to such travellers. Many independent travel companies have also launched special getaway programs to help such groups reconnect with their sexual selves.
