With Aryan Khan In A Black Suit, Gauri Khan Makes Her Sequin Ensemble Work Doubly Hard

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's engagement saw the who's who of Bollywood in full attendance at the Ambani's residence Antilla last night. And since we're talking about who's who, along with the likes of Aishwarya Rai, Sara Ali Khan and Sachin Tendulkar, of course that list included Shah Rukh Khan's family. Present at the function was his stunning wife and home decor maven Gauri Khan and his Gen Z star son Aryan Khan by her side.

Though Aryan was entirely decked in black, there were touches of sheen included in his look. Over a black shirt left unbuttoned on top, he wore a black blazer embedded with sequins. Completing the outfit were black trousers, a silver chain around his neck and glossy brogues on his feet. Gauri chose Manish Malhotra for the occasion. She wore a silver sequin ensemble which was paired with heavy dangling earrings and a silver and gold toned Paco Rabanne chainmail purse in her hand.

While we don't see Bollywood celebrities repeat their outfits; a practice we're all for, Gauri Khan seems to be changing that. While the star wife stunned in her Manish Malhotra look at the Ambani function, it seems that she wore the look before, only a few months ago. In November 2022, Manish posted a photo of Gauri in the outfit. The picture gives us a close-up of the plunging neckline, sheer panels and intricate sequin work of the ensemble. When a designer outfit looks as good as Gauri Khan's, it would be a fashion crime not to wear it again!
