When it comes to fashion, it seems as if Ranbir Kapoor's wardrobe choices are influenced by his mother and veteran actress Neetu Kapoor. On Wednesday, the mother and son duo were seen putting forward a fine display of classy ethnic style as they took part in Ganpati Visarjan. For the ceremony, Neetu Kapoor picked a blush pink satin salwar kameez suit. The kurti came with billowy sleeves and a relaxed fit while the pants featured a flared hem. The veteran actress paired the ensemble with a matching dupatta. Golden sequin elements adorning the borders and the bodice added a pop of glitzy contrast. In terms of accessories, Neetu Kapoor put on a two-tiered necklace, bangles and statement rings. Minimal makeup and short open hair framed her face wonderfully.
Twinning with his mother was Ranbir Kapoor. He looked handsome in a white kurta, decorated with pink flower patterns all over. Collars and beaded elements on the chest added some extra style. Ranbir teamed the easy-breezy fit with white pajamas.
Ranbir Kapoor can make no mistakes when it comes to rocking traditional wear. At a fashion event last year, the actor played muse to designer Kunal Rawal for his 'Dhup Chao' collection. Needless to say, he looked dapper in a full-sleeved midnight blue bandhgala jacket. Silver detailing glistened like shining stars while the silver buttons at the centre elevated the overall aesthetics. Ranbir rounded off his festive-appropriate Indo Western avatar with black pants. A lungi-styled drape on one side was the X-factor.
Ageing like fine fine wine, Neetu Kapoor's style diaries often leave us gushing. Previously, she redefined the meaning of beauty in an electric blue kurta set by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla label. The asymmetrical hemline kurti was beautifully embroidered around the neckline and sleeves. Similar designs were seen on the voluminous palazzo pants as well. Neetu wrapped a matching dupatta with the two-piece silhouette that delivered a colourful twist with pretty tassels along the edge.
