With June 13 being celebrated as World Gin Day all across the globe, this gives you all the more reasons to pull out your bottle of gin and shake up refreshing cocktails at home. When it comes to brunches or weekend sundowners to beat stress, gin cocktails make for the perfect pick to enjoy a range of flavours and unwind with family or by yourself. To make this weekend a gin-tastic affair, we present nine amazing gin cocktails from the experts. Cheers!

1. Seaside Sour
Ingredients:
60 ml Tanqueray London Dry
40ml Lemon Juice
20ml Honey & Jasmine syrup (2 parts honey to 1 part jasmine tea)
20ml Egg white
Method:
Rim a rocks glass with lime sand (1 teaspoon salt + 1 teaspoon caster sugar combined, lime to stick to glass). Pop glass in a freezer.
Dry shake (without ice) the ingredients, and then wet shake.
Strain into pre-prepared glass, garnish with finely cut lemon zest.
2. Gin Sonic
Ingredients:
30ml Roku
60 ml tonic water
60 ml soda water
Lime garnish, as per your preference
Method:
Add ice to a highball glass and stir to chill glass. Add Roku and stir to chill the gin. Top with tonic.
3. Gin Mango Cooler
Ingredients:
60 ml Beefeater dry gin
60 ml mango puree
25 ml lemon juice
Soda to top
1 fresh mango/ orange wedge to garnish
Method:
Shake the gin, mango puree and lemon juice in a shaker with ice.
Pour into a tall glass filled with ice and top with soda. Stir and garnish with fresh mango.
4. Bee's Knees

Ingredients:
60ml Monkey 47 Gin
20 ml fresh lemon juice
20 ml honey syrup (15 ml honey mixed with 1 tsp warm water)
Lime, to garnish
Method:
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the gin, lemon juice and honey syrup; shake well. Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass. Garnish with a lime twist.
5. Gin Pina Tonic

Ingredients:
60ml Beefeater London Dry Gin
30 ml pineapple juice
10 ml lemon juice
Top with tonic water
1 wedge fresh pineapple to garnish
Method:
Fill a tall glass with ice. Pour the gin, lemon juice and pineapple juice over the ice and stir briefly.
Top with tonic water, stir and garnish with fresh pineapple.
6. Gin Sour

Ingredients:
60 ml Roku
10 ml matcha tea
1 egg white
Yuzu wheel, to garnish
Method:
Add egg whites to the shaker and shake to aerate. Add Roku and Matcha tea and shake. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a Yuzu wheel.
7. Gin Julep
Ingredients:
5 cl Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin
1 cl simple syrup
15 mint leaves
Method:
Muddle all ingredients, shake it with ice cubes and double-strain into a silver mug filled with crushed ice. Garnish it with mint leaves.
8. Mango And Gin

Ingredients:
45 ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin
150 ml tonic water
30 ml mango juice
2 mint spring
1 star anise
2 pieces raw mango
Method:
Add the gin and mango juice to a glass and stir. Then tap the mint
spring and add the star anise. Fill the glass with crushed ice, top it up
with tonic and stir well.
Garnish with mint spring and raw mango.
9. Berried Tanqueray

Ingredients:
60 ml Tanqueray London Dry Gin
30 ml cranberry juice
10 ml lime juice
60 ml tonic
60 ml soda
1 fresh thyme
Method:
To a glass add the gin, cranberry juice, lime juice. Tap the thyme, fill the glass the ice, top it up with tonic, soda and stir well. Garnish with a thyme spring.
Pro Tip: You could also freeze some berries and flowers from your garden in ice and add it to make #GardeninMyGlass
