The current promotions of Batti Gul Meter Chalu have shone a spotlight on Shraddha Kapoor's incredible style but it's about time we talked about Yami Gautam. The film marks Yami's return to the big screen after more a year, in which she plays the role of Gulnaar, an advocate who is pivotal to the plot. Off the screen at promotional rounds for the movie, Yami has been upping her fashion game, which has been the case since this summer. So far, it has been with busy prints but this time, she went for an upgraded basic ensemble.
For the screening of Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Yami went for a single piece ensemble in simple black and white stripes. Her jumpsuit from Beyond Proper comes with a crossed neck halter that builds into a drape over legs. The unique ensemble came with a wide legged fit and showed off her shoulders perfectly.

Paired with the outfit was a pair of black dangling earrings, silver sandals and no other accessories whatsoever. She kept her makeup subtle with shimmery eye makeup, fluttery lashes, pink lips, coral nails and her short hair swept to the side.

Stripes have been spotted this week too and with Yami's latest look, it seems to be soon becoming Bollywood's favourite print. She kept all the focus on the striped jumpsuit and toned it down with makeup and accessories; a smart style move we think. Altogether, it made for a wonderful look. With a chic play on stripes and a perfect beauty pairing to match, it's a ten on ten for this lovely lady.
