Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has always been open about both his personal and professional life. Recently the actor spoke about his take on love and heartbreak. During a podcast with Raj Shamani, Shahid opened up about the pain of heartbreak. He said, "Sometimes when your heart breaks, you feel you are not good enough." He talked about how deep love, followed by rejection, often drives people to desperate attempts to salvage the relationship. However, Shahid also states how it comes at the cost of self-respect and dignity—a realisation that tends to dawn only after years of introspection.

He also shared a key lesson from his experience. He highlighted the importance of self-awareness and understanding the impact of a relationship. He stated it's crucial to determine if the relationship fosters growth or brings out negative traits. He said, "Ultimately, you have to live with yourself."

Shahid reflected on the concept of giving in a relationship. "I am needy; I need to be comforted; I need to be made to feel like I am so important—these are selfish things." He further explained that when both partners focus on giving, the relationship thrives naturally, with no undue pressure or expectations.

'If something doesn't come naturally, it might be a sign that either the person isn't right for you, or you are not right for them."
