You May Need Some Time To Get Over The Price Tag On Rihanna's Diamond Watch Choker

One can easily trust Rihanna to set trends in a way only she can. Her latest trick from the hat was seen at Pharell Williams' debut show for Louis Vuitton Men in Paris. In a denim outfit with the brand's iconic Damier print and a makeup look that resembles a real-life Bratz doll, Rihanna looked remarkably funky for a day out in Paris, but it was this one piece of accessory that caught our attention. American watch and jewellery retailer Jacob & Co teamed with Rihanna to create a new trend - the watch choker. The 47 mm white gold Brilliant Flying Tourbillon, set with a total of 368 diamonds has been reconstructed to be worn as a choker making it the first time that a timepiece is worn as a necklace. This custom-made design may not be available as part of their collection but as expected, the watch comes with an equally bedazzled price tag. The watch choker is priced at $700,000 which is approximately Rs 5.73 Crores. Not a big deal when you're Rihanna, right?

We're further convinced that the brand's collaboration with Rihanna is proof that she can literally make a fashion statement. Her maternity style is one such testimony of her ever-transient nature to break the mould to create something that speaks volumes in the fashion space. It only makes perfect sense for us to know that Pharrell Williams picked her in all her pregnant glory, as the face of the brand's menswear line for the preview of the collection in time for the show.
