The newly inaugurated glass bridge christened the Bowstring Arch Bridge or the Mirror Bride in Tamil Nadu's Kanyakumari was inaugurated by Chief Minister MK Stalin and cost Rs 37 crores to be erected. It offers an enchanting view of the two savants and the sea around it. The Bowstring Arch Bridge has been built to withstand harsh climate conditions in the coastal region that connects the Vivekananda Rock Memorial to the Thiruvalluvar statue in Kanyakumari.

The Bowstring Arch Bridge spreads over 77 metres lengthwise and 10 metres widthwise, that make it quite an addition to Kanyakumari's landscape. The covered bridge gives visitors quite a view of the sea and facilitates access between both the monuments.

The bridge is constructed at a cost of Rs 37 crores as part of Kanyakumari's tourism infrastructure.
