In the monsoon of 2024, YouTuber Nikocado Avocado left his 4 million plus subscribers and most Internet users stunned with an entirely new look. The social media personality who calls himself the "king of mukbang" as he is famous for his food displays, posted a video that revealed his weight loss of over 100 kilograms. It wasn't only his body transformation that turned heads, though. It was the fact that he worked on secretly losing weight for over 2 years by pre-recording his social media content.

However, losing the weight was only one part of this journey. Skin is the largest organ of one's body and consists of the proteins elastin and collagen, the latter of which makes up 80% of the skin structure, says Healthline. Once skin expands after weight loss, the collagen and elastin fibers stretch and lose their ability to retract, leaving drooping skin folds behind.
In his latest YouTube video and an exclusive interview with People Magazine, Nikocado opened up about rectifying the sagging skin through plastic surgery after his weight loss. He consulted with Dr. Ben Talei from the Beverly Hills Center for Plastic Surgery, who performed his signature procedure called Auralyft. Also known as a deep plane facelift, the procedure repositions tissues to address sagging skin and strengthens lax muscles at the chin, neck, jawline or under eye area.
On the plastic surgery process, Dr. Ben Talei said, "He has gone through a journey over the past 2 years of a pretty substantial weight loss to the tune of around 250 pounds. That's a massive amount of weight loss which structurally on him hasn't had a huge effect, which is fantastic."
During the consultation, Nick spoke about his transformation, saying, "It's just not pulling the skin, it's going under the skin to the soft tissues, manipulating the muscles and moving the muscles as well. It's considered the gold standard" and added, "Everyone gets plastic surgery for different reasons and I don't want to look like a different person. I'm doing this for myself, I'm doing this for my haters who say, 'oh you have a double chin'. Well, what are you going to say now, nothing I guess."
In the detailed video, the YouTuber gave a candid look at the pre-surgery consultation, the details of how the plastic surgery was performed and finally, the post-surgery healing process.
On his next steps, Nikocado signed off, saying, "Nikocado could be the queen of plastic surgery. What's next? The lips, the nose, the hair transplant? I don't know but hopefully I look even better than when I started this."
