The shutters have rolled down and the red carpet has been successfully shut by Zendaya. We can all go home now. Zendaya loves to make a fashion statement on the red carpet and knows exactly the right tricks to make one effortlessly. After a long halt on the red carpet, Zendaya made a glorious return and you bet it was not going to be the talk of the town. At the NAACP Awards 2023, she served not one but two fabulous archival outfits for the gala. She wowed us in a cutout satin crop top and skirt from Prada which was inspired by one of the runway looks from the 1993 spring/summer collection. The cutout satin bralette adds a risqué touch to her outfit that is incredibly matched with a white satin column skirt with the same cutout pattern on the waist. The original outfit was debuted by the famous Pakistani-German Canadian supermodel Yasmin Ghauri that featured the same bralette and a pair of trousers instead of Zendaya's choice of a skirt. In Prada, the mistakes are nada or at least Zendaya proves us so.

Any fashion enthusiast can spot Zendaya's archival presentations for the night with meticulous detail given to the styles of the yesteryears. Her black and green strapless Versace gown reigned in the 2002 spring/summer campaign and even over 20 years later, Zendaya makes it look just as relevant. The contours of the black gown are covered in bright neon green that adds vintage fashion to the charts again. The sweetheart neckline plunges right below. She adds Bulgari jewels on her wrist, ears and fingers but you can't miss the devilishly high slit constantly distracting you. Her short bob and soft browns for makeup set the stage for the night of celebration.

Zendaya had a busy weekend with award ceremony appearances in quick succession. After her long red-carpet hiatus, Zendaya has more than made up for her absence. At the SAG Awards 2023, she was blushing in pink in a gorgeous strapless custom Valentino creation with matching pink roses adorning it. Even in a custom creation, vintage elements like monochrome, satin 3D roses, classic off-shoulder styles and soft rosy hues stuck out for and clearly also for Zendaya herself.
With vintage fashion on a rise like never before, we hope Zendaya continues to lead the way in her own fashionable way on many more awards nights. Oscars, next, Zendaya?
