Five members of a family in Lucknow's Vikasnagar locality have tested positive for swine flu.
The disease has already claimed two lives in the city last week.
On Wednesday, a data operator at Lucknow's Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences had tested positive for the H1N1 virus. His family members, including three women and a young child, also tested positive for swine flu.
The family is being kept under isolation at their house, Chief Medical Officer Dr SNS Yadav told NDTV, adding that a team of the health department is visiting them twice a day to monitor their condition.
The health department teams are also visiting the neighbourhood to create awareness about the disease, he said.
