Lucknow:
Seven UP health employees, including three officers, were today suspended after a probe found them guilty of staging vulgar dance and permitting liquor at a swearing-in ceremony, a government spokesman said here.
Those suspended included three officers -- Health and family welfare, Director Ramji Lal, Additional Director R B Singh, Joint-Director Ramesh Chandra, he said.
The suspended employees include senior assistants Jaiveer Prasad Gautam and Sudhir Kumar Chaturvedi, junior clerk Hanuman Prasad and class four staff Vinod Kumar.
A high level inquiry was ordered last night after the administration took strong exception to the incident where dance girls performed and employees consumed liquor during the ceremony of the newly elected ministerial association.
The three-member inquiry committee in its probe prima facie found all the seven guilty.
