Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh:
A Bhubaneswar-Delhi flight made an emergency landing at Chaudhury Charan Singh airport in Lucknow after a passenger suffered from cardiac arrest, an official said today.
"Indigo flight from Bhubaneswar to Delhi had to make emergency landing at the airport here at 8:17 PM yesterday as a passenger Shivkumar Panigrahi (52) had cardiac arrest," Airport Director, SC Hota told PTI.
He said that before landing, the airport administration had arranged ambulance for the passenger, who was given preliminary treatment and rushed to a hospital.
He, however, was declared dead in the hospital, he said.
