Lucknow: Five people were killed and 15 injured today when a speeding truck collided with a state transport corporation bus near Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, police said.
"The accident occurred on the Bareilly-Budayun state highway when the speeding truck rammed into a Bareilly depot bus," Bareilly's Senior Superintendent of Police Aakash Kulhari told IANS.
Three of the victims have been identified as Sunayna, Sakhsi and Kishanpal, the driver of the bus. Two others are yet to be identified.
The condition of two injured people is said to be critical.
