Advocating the use of bicycles, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today said that there should be separate infrastructure facilities in India for cycling.
Addressing the gathering at a cycling event in Lucknow, 'Paddle for Cleaner, Greener and Better Lajwab Lucknow', Akhilesh said that instead of associating cycle with poverty, its use should be promoted.
In foreign countries, separate infrastructure facilities are provided for cycling and there is a need to do the same in India, he said.
Akhilesh said that like cycling, the youth should learn the art of maintaining balance in their lives.
