Lucknow: Three IPS officers transferred

Lucknow: Three IPS officers, including two district police chiefs, have been transferred by the Uttar Pradesh government, official sources said today.

While IG, Prosecution Amitabh Thakur has been transferred to Civil Defence department in the same capacity, Superintendent of Police, Siddharth Nagar Anant Dev and SP Amethi Hiralal have swapped places after transfer, they said.

The transfers were announced yesterday.
