Jalandhar: Three women, including an IT professional from Delhi, were on Monday arrested in connection with the recent seizure of drugs, used in rave parties, from the Nawanshahr district.
The trio was nabbed following the interrogation of four persons, who were earlier arrested in the case, IG Jalandhar Zone-2 Gurpreet Dev Kaur said on Monday.
The three arrested women, all aged between 25 to 35 years, were identified as Delhi-based Vanya, Shweta and Surinder Kaur, both from Punjab.
A police team on June 2 raided a house in the Garhshankar area of Nawanshahr district and seized over 34 kgs Methamphetamine and 19 kgs of Ephedrine worth crores of rupees after arresting four persons, including two NRIs.
