Ludhiana:
A mother allegedly got her only son murdered after he caught her in a compromising position with her paramour and decided to disclose this to his father.
Both the woman and the man with whom she was in an illicit relationship have been arrested, Ludhiana's Deputy Commissioner of Police Yurinder Singh Heir said.
During interrogation, the woman confessed to plotting the murder of her 10-year-old son Shubham whose body was found in a vacant piece of land on Friday, he said.
It was the mother who had hatched the conspiracy along with her paramour Shamshad Mohd to kill her only son as he had caught her in a compromising position with him and was bent upon revealing this to his father, the official said, adding further investigations are on.
