Human trafficking racket busted: 35 women and kids rescued by Meerut police
Meerut: The Meerut police have rescued 35 women including minors who were trafficked into the city from Nepal and Rajasthan.

"This is an on-going mission. We had information about these women being illegally brought in. Our mission to rescue these victims will continue," said Sudhir Singh, Superintendent of Meerut Police.

The police say the raid came following a tip off and the kingpin has been arrested. He will be produced in court later today.

The women have been sent to a womens shelter and the police are have now begun looking for their family members.
