Meerut:
A man was allegedly poisoned to death by his wife and her friend in Meerut on Friday, police said today.
According to the cops, the incident took place yesterday when the 30-year-old victim Abrar was given milk laced with poison by his wife Noorjahan and her friend Mauju.
Police say, she had an illicit relationship with Mauju and was adamant to marry him despite Abrar's several attempts to convince her.
Both the accused have been arrested and a case of murder has been registered against them.
The victim's body has been handed over to his family after the post mortem, they said.
