"Our aim is to build the state. I am not going to demand any post for me. I want to focus on the development of my state. I want Karnataka to be the number one state in the country," the BJP strongman told reporters at the airport.

"Modi will attend. He will work shoulder to shoulder with me. There was a conflict, has been sorted out. Sanjay Joshi quit saying he doesn't want to be the source of any controversy," said Gadkari.
Mr Gadkari added that Mr Joshi's resignation was "a large-hearted gesture".
Modi likely to attend only after Joshi's resignation from the party is accepted.
Mr Gadkari completes his current term in December and there is serious opposition to a second term from top leaders in the party. In recent days, party leaders have challenged several of Mr Gadkari's decisions and forced him to back down on them.
In his resignation letter sent to BJP president Nitin Gadkari, Mr Joshi has cited opposition from top leaders like Narendra Modi for his decision
