Mumbai:
Four people were killed and 40 others injured in a gas cylinder explosion in Mumbai's suburban Trombay area on Wednesday, sources said.
The cylinder exploded in a bakery at around 2pm. A part of the building housing the bakery collapsed after the explosion, the sources added.
A fire engine and three water tankers were rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control after almost an hour.
The police are clearing the debris to check if anyone is trapped inside the bakery. The owner of the bakery has also been detained.
