Mumbai: An allegedly drunk man was arrested in Mumbai, for knocking down a man cycling in suburban Versova in the wee hours of Monday morning. According to the police, Paramdeep Sandhu a struggling actor and son of a senior Punjab cop, first rammed his car into the cyclist and sped away. When he was later caught at a nakabandi, he and the woman accompanying him began abusing and threatening the cops. He was arrested after it emerged that that he had knocked down the cyclist who was taken to a local hospital for first aid and then released.
Mr Sandhu will be produced in a local court later today.
