Experts visit Mumbai to suggest ways of controlling malaria

Mumbai: A central team from the Malaria Research Institute is on a visit to the city to survey high risk wards and suggest measures to control breeding of mosquitoes.

The team, led by Ashwini Kumar and Hemant Kumar, visited the 'L ward' in Kurla west on Tuesday.

Sources said they will be visiting all high-risk wards, including construction sites, to survey the situation. They will suggest steps to control breeding of mosquitoes and spread of malaria, especially during monsoon.
