Mumbai:
A major fire broke out at a godown in Wadi Bunder near Bombay Port Trust area in Mumbai this evening, civic sources said.
The fire broke out near the Hong Kong Bridge and eight fire engines have been rushed to the spot, an official said.
Efforts to douse the fire are on, he added.
Sixteen fire engines and 10 water tankers have been pressed into service to douse the blaze, the sources said, adding that no casualty has been reported.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, they said.
